Henley Royal Regatta
Wednesday 3 July - Sunday 7 July 2013
Henley Royal Regatta is one of the sporting highlights of the English Summer Season. The course lies on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. The start is by Temple Island and the crews race upstream finishing just below the town bridge.
The regatta starts on a Wednesday and continues through to Finals Day on the following Sunday. Traditionally the Finals Day will fall on the first Sunday of July.
Henley is a major International Regatta attracting crews from all over Britain, Europe, North America and Australasia. The competitors range from Clubs and Universities, to full International Crews.
Whilst the traditional head to head racing is part of the appeal, another is the great party atmosphere that accompanies the whole event and the place to be is the "Stewards' Enclosure", the Stewards being the organisers and custodians of the event.
The colourful blazers, the summer frocks and of course the hats are all part and parcel of the event and it all makes for a very colourful occasion.
So if you are looking to complete your outfit, please remember that we constantly update our stock of exclusive hats and fascinators with the new seasons styles and colours. And with over 600 hats in our shop at any time, our staff are always available to provide that guiding hand to make sure:
